Good News

The media is pulling all stops out to disenfranchise Republican voters and unfortunately some from our side continue to help them. All weekend it has been nonstop negativity trying to convince us that Obama has already won an election that hasn't even taken place yet. You know doubt will remember they pulled the same thing in '04. You had all these pictures of mass rallies attended by celebrities and musicians, and of course John Kerry. Well now we have the exact same pictures and the same chants that the Democrats are going to win.

Contrary to what you heard this weekend, the Republican Party and John McCain has had some good news lately. First of all the Republican Party shattered their monthly fundraising bringing in almost $66 million. We also had almost 70 million people tune into the VP debate, which I feel Gov. Palin won hands down. I have no doubt that by Tuesday the poll numbers will look considerably better. The fact is that most of these polls over sample Democrats. Don't allow the MSM to depress or discourage you. Remember us voters have the final say on November 4.

While I was at the County Headquarters the last few Saturdays I have seen an increase in both donations and volunteers. People are excited about Gov. Palin and our chances of reforming Washington. While you are only hearing about Democrat registrations we have had several people come in to find out how to register to vote. From what I understand this is happening across the state of Wisconsin. The future is bright for McCain/Palin in Wisconsin and no doubt many other battle ground states.

Just look at the support Obama's getting from the MSM. They're doing his dirty work for him without his spending one penny or lifting one leftist, latte laden finger.

No wonder his campaign contribution bank is so freaking full--

Won hands down?!? That's a bit of a stretch.

Not as much of a stretch as proposing that Obama's fit for the Presidency (?!?), Steve.

Max,

Excellent point. The MSM should have to disclose the financial value of all their support for Obama.

Steve,

I don't think it is a stretch at all. Almost 70 million people tuned in to see Palin, not Biden. Biden is supposed to be a foreign policy and government expert. Yet, he repeatedly made false or misleading statements including getting the Constitutional authority of the Vice President wrong. If Palin had made these mistakes she would have been forced to bow out of the race. Palin, instead, showed not only that she was competent, but that she is able to connect with everyday Americans and those are the people who will be voting the next VP and President into office. So in my opinion, she won the debate hands down because she accomplished her goals for the debate and Biden, at best, didn't hurt his candidate; at worst, he showed once again why Obama picked the wrong VP.

CG,

I don't think we are allowed to question the messiah's fitness to be President;-)
